Menswear designer Janine Grosche made the move from Berlin to Beijing to launch and run her own label, Path. Her success proves that the less obvious route has its own advantages. Following the move to Beijing in pursuit of a job opportunity offered to her upon graduating, Janine went on to launch her own label there, embracing the challenges that come with language and culture barriers. Although it is common knowledge that the market for local, independent fashion in China is limited – overshadowed by the desire for luxury brands from the West – Janine is still optimistic that things are changing. She is in a great position today, having access to a unique market on the verge of significant development. Through her signature style of nonchalant elegance with a certain fragility, Janine is pursuing a new masculinity. Path looks set to be one of the most important emerging menswear labels to watch.

As the world's premier fabric show, Première Vision brings together key players from the international fashion scene each season. The show sets the stage for fruitful encounters, but also undeniably sets off new trends and provides inspiration for all fashion brands and designers looking for innovation, creativity and quality textiles.
From the start, one of the goals of Première Vision has been to support creativity through strong and committed actions.

Each year, in September, Première Vision brings together an exceptional jury comprised of well-known professionals in the fabric sector: fashion designers, international buyers and studios, fashion editors, professors and more.

Then Jury President designer Felipe Oliveira Baptista -Artistic Director of Lacoste and founder of his own brand- has since collaborated with winners Jackytex (1 &2) and Nikke (3) in the design and creation of some pieces in his Autumn/Winter 2013 collection, shown last February 27 during Paris Fashion Week.
A wonderful illustration of Première Vision's commitment to textile creativity!

Each year, in September, Première Vision brings together an exceptional jury comprised of well-known professionals in the fabric sector: fashion designers, international buyers and studios, fashion editors, professors and more. The September 2012 edition of the PV Awards awarded prizes to Italian companies Ricciani Tessile and Jackytex, and to the Japanese company Nikke. And as is often the case, thanks to Première Vision, the synergy worked!
