THE LOFT at Lower Parel presents Guler Ates
Turkish born Güler Ates, lives and works in London. She graduated from Royal College of Art with an MA in Printmaking. Her work is an exploration into the bewildering experience of displacement. She is drawn to architectural places, which mostly offer middle-Eastern exoticism and Victorian propriety as the location of displacement. She has shown at prestigious venues internationally, and will open an exhibition at the Royal Academy of Arts in 2013.
