Consumexpo confirms its status as one of the most important events for Italian footwear in Russia
48 Italian companies presented their collections to buyers from all over the CIS area

The 25th Consumexpo International Exhibition of Consumable Goods just closed in Moscow. The event was held January 21 through 24 in halls 2 and 8 and the Forum of the Expocentr, the most important trade fair centre in the Russian capital, which hosts footwear companies and dealers from all over the CIS area every year.

The biggest area in the trade fair is the footwear, leather goods and accessories area.  Once again, ANCI - Italy's National Footwear Manufacturers' Association  – accompanied a group of 48 Italian companies exhibiting their collections in the footwear and leather goods area, a hall with about 1,000 square metres of net display space.

The results of the event confirm that Consumexpo is of particular interest to Italian footwear companies, which presented their spring/summer 2013 collections and offered sneak previews of their new fall/winter 2013-2014 collections. Consumexpo's status as a key event monitoring the market for companies with significant business interests in the area was confirmed.    ANCI will analyse the results in detail and meet with footwear manufacturers to discuss how to adapt the trade fair formula to Russia's changing market.
