The young designers competition at the Festival de Hyères
Galeries Lafayette , a close partner of the Villa Noailles in Hyères since 2007 , renew their support for the art at the 29th International Festival of Fashion and Photography center. This prestigious festival held every year many designers , photographers , gallery or offices around style parades, exhibitions and conferences organized by the French Federation of Couture.
The fashion jury , chaired this year by Carol Lim and Humberto Leon , Creative Directors of KENZO , met in Paris on January 22 to select 10 candidates for the final competition. They were surrounded by Carol Song, Director of Purchasing of Opening Ceremony , Chloë Sevigny , actress , Jay Massacret , editor mode VMan , Eric Wilson, the American way of InStyle . The jury has selected ten young fashion designers from 8 different countries:
