This is the 53rd edition of the Salone del Mobile, which takes place from April 8th - 13th. At the RHO Fiera alone there will be 2,400 exhibitors, from 260 countries with 300,000 visitors heading into the city.

This is the 20th edition of EuroCucina and also the Bathroom furniture exhibition. This year SaloneSatellite, devoted to young and emerging designers, has re-located to Pavilions 13-15. A hallmark event, called 'Where Architects Live' includes eight leading international architects and should not be missed.

The Fuorisalone - showrooms, exhibitions and installations in the centre of Milan will be impressive. In addition to Ventura Lambrate, Brera Design District and Tortona Around Design, there is a new cultural district, 5 Vie. This will have 35 exhibitions, and will take advantage of inner courtyards, cloisters, churches and museums in the area close to the heart of Milan near the Duomo.

Add to this the charm of Rossana Orlandi and 20 brands participating in designjunction at Palazzo Morando, and you will need maps and use of apps to ensure you make the most of this week.
