theLiberty's new interiors collection comprising fabrics, wallpapers and paints
will launch at the end of September in their London store and online, with the
fabrics and wallpaper available for international shipping. This is only Liberty's
second fabrics collection, with 18 different designs in various colourways. The
wallpapers and paints are a first for Liberty – all are designed to complement
each other – and the revolutionary iPatch is an innovation designed to banish
the wastefulness of the sample paint pot. The collection has been
inspired by the British landscape architect William Nesfield, a major influence
on garden design during the 19th century. He introduced balance
between natural wildlife and symmetrical structure. His imaginative approach in
evoking the serenity of a classic English garden encouraged Liberty Art Fabrics
to create a collection of designs celebrating botanical beauty and
craftsmanship. Some of Liberty's famous archive prints sit alongside more
contemporary and illustrative handwriting, offering a diverse collection of
interior furnishings. These original Liberty designs are printed in the UK to
the highest standards and are offered on premium quality linens, cottons and
velvets suitable for all interior decorative uses. The new Liberty paint
range is available in over 30 complementary shades in 2.5 litre tins. This premium quality paint collection is available to sample using the latest
colour-matching technology on the innovative new iPatch. This swatch, which is
a world first, replaces the usual printed cards and tester pots as the most
accurate, convenient and environmentally friendly way to choose and
colour-match paint schemes. It's an A4 sheet with a coat of real paint on one
side and low-tack adhesive backing on the other: peel off the backing and the
sample sheets can be attached and re-attached to any interior wall without
leaving a residue, or taken away to match fabrics, furnishings and home
accessories.
The Nesfield Collection will launch on 25th
September 2013. Encapsulating the very best of Liberty style, the fabrics and
