| Last night, visionary designer Julien Macdonald launched his stunning women-only glasses collection at the Vision Express flagship store in Oxford Street.
A number of Julien's high profile friends including Camilla Dallerup, Iveta Lukosiute and Jason Gardiner came out to support him and show their appreciation for the glamorous new eye range. The star of the show on the night was a show-stopping design featuring a gold snake curling around each arm of the modern-shaped, full black acetate frame, a nod to Macdonald’s ‘more is more’ mantra. Julien shared his inspiration behind the 17-piece optical collection and pointed out that glasses are as much a statement fashion accessory as a handbag or earrings. Paying homage to his intricate catwalk creations, the hand-crafted collection injects dazzling mirror and crystal motifs alongside tonal metallic prints and Art Deco design. | |
