To coincide with the arrival of the summer holiday period, McArthurGlen has launched its first ever pan-European tourism marketing campaign – Jet, Set, Go!
The campaign is designed to promote McArthurGlen’s 20 Designer Outlets across Europe as stylish shopping destinations for European tourists, with the strapline, ‘You can shop with us wherever you go on holiday this summer’. With additional savings to be made and in-centre promotions and events, there has never been a better time to visit a McArthurGlen Designer Outlet!
McArthurGlen’s centres are all conveniently located near key touristic cities across eight countries in Europe; which makes them ideal destinations for fashion-loving tourists looking for a stylish shopping experience, whether to buy something to wear on holiday or the latest on-trend item to wear at home.
Around 200 million trips are made by Europeans within Europe each year, with the Germans, British and Dutch the most frequent travellers (source: Euromonitor). According to Ipsos/Europ Assistance, around three-quarters of Europeans going on holiday this summer are taking holidays within Europe, and more than half book their holidays online.
Jet, Set, Go is a digitally-led campaign, communicated in five key European languages. It looks to engage with McArthurGlen’s 5 million Privilege Club members; prospective Europeans looking for inspiration on where to go this summer in Europe, as well as those European tourists who are already within the catchment of our centres.
As part of the Jet, Set, Go campaign, these customers are invited to present themselves at the info desk of a McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in order to redeem an exclusive gift consisting of a designer travel pouch (subject to terms and conditions).
