Gaultier adora fazer um show. E caso você não saiba disso, você provavelmente poderia deduzir que a partir do Acrobat-ninjas que capotaram na pista no início da sua coleção de Outono. As cortinas se abriram para revelar Bond, James Bond, em um elegante smoking. Ele fez sua segurança collection. Depois, veio o seu sucessor: Louro. James Blond.
Louro é o andrógino (mesmo para os padrões masculinos modelo) Andrej Pejic, que recentemente lançou um feitiço sobre Gaultier. Ele balançou todos e atravesou a pista com uma camisa desabotoada até o umbigo, um par de botas de salto agulha, e uma cascata de cachos Veronica Lake. O elenco de personagens que se seguiu poderia ter representado vilão ou aliado, ou mesmo 45 diferentes alternativos-Bonds. O show foi principalmente uma exercício sobre o smoking e suas armadilhas, e quando você pensa sobre isso, ele é meio hábil para fazê-lo através da lente de Bond, o clássico Black Ops em black tie. Havia muita bobagem em sua execução, no entanto: Tuxes com shorts e meias arrastão, smokings com longas saias azul-marinho abotoado, e uma passagem inteira de coletes de neoprene e smokings com ternos molhados. O nome de Thierry Mugler pairou sobre Paris como um espectro, esta semana. Mas o ouro (como os anéis no dedo) calças acolchoadas e casacos estampados mostrado aqui chegaram mais perto de Mugler vintage do que a maioria do que Nicola Formichetti e empresa enviaram para o avivamento da Maison. Havia alguns itens espalhados (incluindo as novas sombras Gaultier está fazendo com Alain Mikli, embora parecessem mais prontos para a matriz de Moonraker).

He shook everyone and Across the runway with a shirt unbuttoned to the navel, a pair of boots, stilettos, and a cascade of curls Veronica Lake. The cast of characters that followed could have played a villain or ally, or even 45 different alternative-Bonds. The show was mainly an exercise on smoking and its pitfalls, and when you think about it, he is skilful means to make it through the lens of Bond, the classic Black Ops in black tie. There were lots of silly in its execution, however: Tuxes in shorts and fishnets, tuxedos with long navy blue skirts buttoned, and a whole passage of life jackets and tuxedos with neoprene wet suits. The name of Thierry Mugler hovered like a specter over Paris this week. But gold (like the rings on his finger) padded pants and jackets embossed shown here come the closest to vintage Mugler than most of what Nicola Formichetti company and sent to the revival of the Maison. There were some scattered items (including the new shades Gaultier is doing with Alain Mikli, though they seem more ready for the array of Moonraker).
