We're delighted to announce that Marker 2014, focusing on Central Asia
and the Caucasus, will be curated by the artists Slavs and Tatars.
Marker is Art Dubai’s curated section of concept stands which focuses
each year on a particular theme or geography.
Slavs and Tatars’ work spans several media, disciplines and a broad
spectrum of cultural registers devoted to an area east of the former
Berlin Wall and west of the Great Wall of China known as Eurasia. Their
recent engagements include solo exhibitions at Künstlerhaus Stuttgart;
REDCAT, Los Angeles; and Art Space Pythagorion, Samos. They are
represented by The Third Line, Dubai; Kraupa-Tuskany Zeidler, Berlin;
and Raster, Warsaw.
