Alessandro Sartori named president of the 5 th PV Awards.

First established in
September 2009, the PV awards have become one of the most stimulating events on
the industry calendar for weavers and buyers. Once again, Première Vision has
assembled a prestigious jury made up of influential personalities on the
international fashion scene. They will select and award prizes to the
exhibitors’ most outstanding, inventive and innovative fashion textile
creations. For this 5 th edition, Première Vision, the world’s premier fabric
show, is proud to welcome talented Italian
designer Alessandro Sartori as President of the Jury. A designer known for his
eccentric touches, Alessandro Sartori brings a singular attention to design
details, innovation and fabrics - creative qualities that could only have
brought him closer to the world of Première Vision! After 14 years at
Ermenegildo Zegna, he was named Artistic Director of Berluti by the LVMH Group
in July 2011, charged with creating the first men’s ready-to-wear collection
for the luxury footwear label. The goal was achieved in January 2012 when he successfully presented his
first collection for Berluti during Paris Fashion Week.Today he is at the heart
of the luxury group’s ambitious plans for its menswear brand.
