 Galeries Lafayette Galeries Lafayette and Toulouse support the 2014 edition of the International Art Festival Toulouse ( FIAT ) and join in his daring projects that engage contemporary art and Toulouse heritage.From 23 May to 22 June, the FIAT allows visitors to discover atypical artistic proposals in various heritage sites and art of the city and the Midi- Pyrénées region centers. The Festival has to offer heart during the opening weekend of the event, a rich program of performances, concerts, conferences and meetings with artists, giving it a festive, open and popular. Opening the Festival, Galeries Lafayette Toulouse welcome Thursday, May 22 the launch party of the magazine A ( C ) 1. Collectors, journalists and players in the art world can discover this graphic object collection and support reflection , published on the occasion of the Festival. Throughout the event, a blackbox, located on the 6th floor of the store, also broadcast continuously documentary highlighting the work of a selection of presentations at the FIAT artists like Georges Jeanclos and Thomas Huber. Finally, Galeries Lafayette join the project by American artist Jorge Pardo at Musee des Augustins. On the occasion of this second edition of FIAT, a new presentation of the collection of Romanesque was entrusted to this designer internationally recognized for his colorful work at the boundary between art, design and architecture. Founded there nearly 120 years, the Galeries Lafayette Group has always placed creativity at the heart of its values and commitments.
